JinLi Sharing the Competition Experience

There is a Chinese proverb “A bit of fragrance clings to the hand that gives flowers” and this was exemplified by the amazing generosity of the JinLi family at this year’s 19th WTQA Wushu Taiji and Qigong Competition at Monash University, Clayton Campus.

JINLI SHARING THE COMPETITION EXPERIENCE 01“I was so incredibly proud of our JinLiers at the competition this year. They gave selflessly and with such grace to all those who needed their help”, said Master Brayshaw of the JinLi students, instructors and trainees. “Despite leading incredibly busy lives, with huge study and work commitments, our group made the time to be there and offer whatever they could. For some, it was cheering on competitors, for some it was organising the event behind the scenes, for some it was giving up their time to nurture young athletes, and for others the act of participating in the competition was a way of ensuring its ongoing future. They are a remarkable group of people whom I feel honoured to teach and work with on a weekly basis.”

If you get a chance, and see any of these people, please acknowledge their selflessness and their achievements. Each person was truly amazing:

In addition to the amazing contributions of our JinLi family, there were many others who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this incredible event. We should all be indebted to them. Unfortunately, Wushu/Taiji and Qigong receive no government funding, so we all need to “make a sacrifice” so our beautiful arts can be seen and shared by all.
So, thank you on behalf of all Wushu, Taiji and Qigong practitioners in Australia and congratulations to everyone.

Remember,
“Life is an echo
What you send, comes back
What you sow, you reap
What you give, you get
What you see in others, exists in you”
